A day before Acer had a press conference in New Your and in the event the company revealed new line of the device including two tablets Acer Iconia One 8 B1820 and the Iconia Tab 10 A3 A30.
Acer Iconia One 8 B1-820 is the budget friendly tablet and come with 8 inches display having 1280x 800 pixels resolution. The tablet measures 9.5mm by dimension and featured with quad-core Intel Atom processor. The device has 1 GB RAM and 16 or 32 GB internal memory which can be further extended via microSD card. The tablet belongs to the Android family and will run Android 5.0 operating system. The tablet has 5-megapixel rear camera, 88-degree wide angle lens rear camera and 0.3MP front-facing camera front-facing camera. The Iconia Tab 8 carries 355 grams of weight.
The Acer Iconia Tab 10 A3-A30 offer to the users a 10.1 inches display with 1920x 1200 pixels resolution. The screen of the Tab 10 is based on FHD IPS display based on Zero Air Gap technology, Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection.
The Acer Iconia Tab 10 A3 A30 is powered with 1.83 GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F processor paired with 2GB RAM, 16GB / 32GB / 64 GB internal memories which can be extended up to 64GB with microSD. The tablet is also belongs from the Android tribe and run 5.0 operating system. The device has 5mega pixel rear and 2 megapixel front-facing camera and has 540 grams of weight.
As far as pricing and availability goes, the Iconia One 8 B1-820 will be available in North America in July with a competitive price of $145 and by April in EMEA for €179 and the tablet will be available in 10 colors.
The Tab 10 A3-A30 will hit the North America in May with a price of $299, as well as select EMEA markets for €299. The tablet comes with optional stylus, protective film, bumper case, protective sleeve and wireless keyboard dock. As for the Acer Predator, all we currently know is that it should be coming in Q4 this year.
