Android 5.0 Lollipop will go first to Moto X 2014

Since Motorola has a good whole over Android 5.0 operating system and is the producer of Nexus 6 therefore has announced the update for its devices on Android 5.0.

It will be a very pleasant surprise to know that even the originator of Android 5.0 Lollypop, Google has been surpassed by Motorola by issuing the updates on Android 5.0 Lollypop to its devices starting from Moto X 2014.  Google being the originator of this operating system could not push out the updates to its own devices and Motorola has won the race by doing this. Motorola has issued this update to “Soak Test” users and included all the features of lollypop to its latest and well configured smartphone Moto X 2014 and 2013.

The company has announced that Lollypop update will be initially issued for Moto X 2013 and 2014, Moto G (2nd Gen and 1st Gen), Moto E and some Droid series mobile phones. Beside these handsets Motorola also intends issuing this update to Droid Turbo, or Moto Maxx international version of Droid Turbo.

Presently Motorola has pushed out the updates to the original version of Moto X 2014 with a unlocked version of the handset. This update is only issued to users who have already registered with the company for Motorola Feedback Network for Soak Test. This initial update is only to receive the feedback on its performance and rectify any weaknesses before making it available all over. This issue is the test run only and contains the complete features of the operating system.
