Previously Apple said that the next generation iPad Air and the mini version of iPad will be revealed with iPhone 6 but due to some internal reasons the iPad Air and iPad Mini got delayed and Apple confirmed during the iPhone launching event that the company would arrange another event for revealing the next generation iPads. Now company confirmed the date, place and the time of event and sent the invitation to the press for printing. The company holds the event on 16th October 2014 on Apple's Town Hall auditorium on the Infinite Loop Campus in Cupertino, California at 10AM PT / 1PM ET.
The notable thing in the invitation is that company wrote "It's been way too long" on it which is pointing towards Apple's refreshed iPad Air 2 and iPad mini. According to the recent leak the both versions of the iPads will be equipped with Apple A8 system on chip with M8 processor, Touch ID, Apple Pay. Both the devices are slim in comparison with the older versions of the tablets. iPad Air 2 only has 7mm thin bezel which gives the premium look to this upcoming tablet.
Besides these tablets Apple is also going to launch iMac series with high screen resolution 6400 x 3600, 5760 x 3240, and 4096 x 2304 pixels. Probably Apple also reveals 12 inches MacBook with Retina display but still we are not sure about that.
So users get ready because the event is only few days far and probably Apple will appear again with the mega boost.
