It is hilarious Ming-Chi Kuo, a famous Apple analyst, has made a prediction for iPhones 2021, two years ahead when we are waiting for iPhones 2019 i.e. XI, XI Max and XI R. Anyways, Kuo said iPhones in 2021 will continue to add Face ID, but they will revive Touch ID again under the divine light.

Kuo not talked about simple Touch ID but a sort of In-Display Fingerprint Reader and Apple won’t offer it until the technology gets matured.

The analyst explained how four solutions Steve Jobs required to integrate a Touch ID under the screen. Those problems to overcome are power utilization, a dimension of sensing area, the thickness of the unit, and manufacturing yield rate.

The same source suggested Apple could make use of Qualcomm’s In-Screen Ultrasonic Fingerprint Sensor. Continue his talks; Kuo supposed the American brand to insert that UD Touch ID in Apple Watches too for enhanced security.

Sadly, iPhone 11/XI, 11 Max and 11 R are yet to come with only Face ID; however, a separate Touch ID sensor may sell out in accessories to connect via OTG.

As every year happens, Apple will unveil iPhones 2019 in September, and the actual sales and shipment will take place a month later.
