The new iPad Air (2020) features a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display with P3 wide color, True Tone, and a laminate coating. Touch ID is located in the power button. The 8th generation iPad 10.2 (2020), on the other hand, is an entry-level device with Bionic A12 SoC for $329.

Starting with the eighth-generation iPad; the new device packs a 10.2-inch display. It comes with an A12 bionic chip that's 40 percent faster and graphics that are twice as fast as the previous version. The iPad is also compatible with Apple's smart keyboards and the Apple Pencil. Pre-orders start today and the 8th gen Apple iPad 10.2 (2020) will be available this Friday in silver, space gray, and gold.

The new iPad Air features the newest powerful A14 Bionic processor. “The first in the industry to use the breakthrough 5nm technology,” Apple says. The CPU is 40% faster, GPU performance improved by 30%, machine learning performance improved as well thanks to a new neural engine. The new iPad Air features an iPad Pro-like design with a 10.9-inch display with a resolution of 2360×1640 with full lamination, P3 wide color gamut, True Tone, and anti-reflective coating. It also features USB-C connectivity and a redesigned speaker system. On the rear, there's a 12MP shooter with f/1.8 aperture, support for 4K video recording at 60fps, 240fps slow-mo, and improved video stabilization. For selfies, it offers a 7MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and 1080p video at 60fps. The new iPad Air (2020), running iPadOS 14, and will be available next month in silver, space gray, rose gold, green, and sky blue colors. In terms of accessories, iPad Air features second-generation Apple Pencil support and Magic Keyboard support.
