A new entry-level Coolpad Cool 12A smartphone is official. The last smartphone under the Cool lineup, Cool 10 was launched back in June. The Coolpad Cool 12A arrives with some impressive features such as a large display, a Spreadtrum SoC, 4GB RAM, dual rear camera setup, and a 4000mAh battery at a very affordable price.

The Coolpad Cool 12A houses a 6.3-inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution and a 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, there is a quad-core Spreadtrum processor, the Chipset has three Cortex-A55 CPU cores that are clocked at 1.8GHz and 1 Cortex-A75 CPU core that is clocked at 2.0GHz. The smartphone has 4GB of RAM, and 64GB internal storage which can be further expanded via a micro-SD card. The Coolpad COOL 12A houses a 4,000mAh battery that can be charged through USB-C. The large battery promises a standby time of up to 14 days. For photography experience, the Coolpad COOL 12A comes with a dual rear camera setup that has a 16MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there is an 8MP shooter for the selfies. The smartphone also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock feature.
