Samsung recently confirmed that the will launch the new series of the tablets known as Galaxy Tab A 8.0 and Galaxy Tab A 9.7 in USA soon.
First the devices will go to the Europe and will be available on 1st May. The pre-orders of the tablets start from 20th April onwards. All the big online retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, HH Gregg offer these tablets in various colors. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 carried the price tag of $229.99 and the Galaxy Tab A9.7 will be available at the price of $299.99 and the available colors are Smoky Blue, Smoky Titanium, and White.
Both tablets are thin and measures 7.4mm by dimension and runs Android 5.0 lollipop operating system. The display has 768x1024 pixels resolution. They powered with quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processors, also offering 5 MP rear cameras and 2 MP front-facing cameras. The tablets have the capacity of 1.5 GB of RAM and 16 GB internal memory which can be further increased. Moreover, the devices come with Microsoft Office for Android, and 100 GB of free storage space on OneDrive for 2 years. The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has a 6000 mAh battery while the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 comes with a smaller, 4200 mAh battery.
Customers are able to buy the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 from 17th May with S Pen. This tablet is bit expensive than the regular version and will be available at the price of $349.99.
