Honor 30 5G phone spotted on 3C certification listing with 40W fast charging

Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is reportedly in the works to unveil its brand new Honor 30 series of smartphones. The Honor 30 series of devices is speculated to have 5G connectivity. Recently, a new Huawei / Honor smartphone that has a model number of BMH-AN10 has received approval from the 3C authority of China. A Chinese tipster claims that it could be the Honor 30 5G smartphone. The handset is expected to compete with the OnePlus 8 Lite smartphone that is rumored to launch in the second week of April.

The 3C certification of the BMH-AN10 smartphone reveals that it is a 5G-ready phone. However, the listing also reveals that the Honor 30 5G phone may ship with a charger that offers a maximum charging speed of 40W. The Honor V30 series that debuted at the end of 2019 had the OXF-XXXX model number where “OXF” referred to the “Oxford” codename of the smartphone. The Chinese media is speculating that the codenamed of the Honor 30 phone could be “Birmingham” because of which its model number is BMH-XXXX. A reliable tipster with @Rodent950 Twitter account has suggested that the Honor 30 series will be made official in April. As for now, there is no information available on the specifications of the Honor 30 series. It is likely that the Honor 30 will come with up to 90Hz refresh rate screen, and it could be powered by Kirin 990 5G chipset.
