Honor Play 4 Pro appeared on Geekbench, company confirms 40W fast charging

Honor will be launching the Honor Play 4 series of smartphones tomorrow. Rumors have it that the series may include three models such as Honor Play 4 5G, Play 4 Pro 5G, and Play 4 Pro+ 5G. The vanilla model that has a TNNH-AN00 model number has recently appeared on TENAA with full specifications. Yesterday, a tipster from China had shared the leaked specs of the Honor Play 4 Pro 5G. Now, the same phone has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform.

The OXP-AN00 Geekbench appearance shows that its Kirin processor has a base frequency of 1.86GHz. The clocking speed suggests that the phone is fueled by Kirin 990. The smartphone is loaded with Android 10 OS. The SoC is coupled with 8 GB of RAM. In the single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench, the handset scored 751 and 2773 points, respectively. In related news, Honor took to Weibo to confirm that the Honor Play 4 series will arrive with support for 40W fast charging. Based on recent leaks, the Play 4 Pro 5G has a 6.57-inch IPS LCD display with a cutout for 32-megapixel + 8-megapixel dual selfie camera. It has a 40-megapixel Sony IMX600y + 8-megapixel dual camera setup on its back. The phone houses a 4,200mAh battery and it has a side-facing fingerprint reader.
