Just a few minutes ago, Huawei unveiled its latest flagship Galaxy Huawei P10 and Huawei P10 Plus at MWC Barcelona. The new smartphone comes with a new design, better display, and Leica camera setups.
Huawei P10
Huawei P10 enfolded in metal uni-body and it features a 5 inch display with 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass 5. The smartphone resembles to iPhone 7 due to its antenna bands. The Huawei P10 has very decent and gorgeous appearance as compared to its predecessors. The leica camera setup makes it unique among other devices.
The smartphone has 4GB of RAM and it is powered by Kirin 960 chip. The main feature of the device is its dual cameras; it has 12MP color and a 20MP monochrome camera sensor. Both sensors come with f/2.2 lens, but OIS is available only on the color camera. Huawei has presented a new Portrait Mode, which syndicates their Beautification and Variable Aperture mode. The feature is available on both rear and selfie camera. The Leica powered selfie camera comes with different effects that make a selfie beautiful.
The Huawei P9 runs Android 7.0 Marshmallow out of the box and it houses a 3200 mAh battery and supports super charge. The smartphone will be launched in March in a wide range of different colors such as Prestige Gold, Greenery, Rose Gold, Graphite Black, Dazzling Blue, Ceramic White, and Mystic Silver. The device will be available in 29 countries, including China, UK, Australia, UAE, and Thailand with $685 price tag.
Huawei P10 Plus
The Huawei P10’s pro model is named as Huawei P10 Plus which resembles to the base variant but with some changed specification. The smartphone features a 5.5 inch IPS screen with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution.
It is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 960 chipset and runs latest Android OS 7.0 Nougat out of the box. The P10 Plus comes in two variants one has 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and the other one has 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. Users can choose a variant according to their storage need. The smartphone has similar 12MP RGB + 20MP cameras with two-tone LED flash, and laser autofocus just like Huawei P10 Plus but comes with 1.8 sensors. It can record 4K videos as well.
The Portrait mode is also available on both selfie and main camera. The 8MP selfie snapper is powered by Leica sensor and supports live broadcast of the bokeh belongings. The P10 Plus has a larger battery than the P10; it comes with 3740 mAh battery with the support of Huawei's Super Charge.
The other exclusive feature of the Huawei P10 is its wider camera apertures. The smartphone supports 4.5G with 4 LTE antennas (4x4MIMO 600Mbps). Rest specifications of the device are same such as Android 7 Nougat with EMUI 5.1 skin on top, touch-sensitive Home key, Gorilla Glass 5, and fingerprint scanner. The P10 will be available in same colors in the same markets. The 64GB variant comes with $738while the 128GB model will be available $843.
