A new promo render (that has been shared by Huawei) reveals that the phone will come with an inward folding display design. The promo poster also has the text of “Huawei Mate X2 New Body Shape,” which also hints at the new design change. The second-generation Huawei Mate Xs smartphone was launched with a single main foldable screen that folds outward. However, the upcoming Mate X2 will come with two displays. First is the main display that folds and closes inward, while the second display (cover display) will be available on the outside. A Chinese tipster – DigitalJun, suggests that the Huawei Mate X2 will also come with new color options as compared to the Mate X and Mate Xs. This upcoming foldable phone will be powered by the 5nm Kirin 9000 chipset and have Wi-Fi 6 for faster connectivity and super-fast charging.
