Huawei Nova 7i to come with 48MP quad-camera setup on February 14

Huawei has confirmed that it will unveil the Nova 7i smartphone in Malaysia on February 14. It will arrive in Malaysia as a rebadged edition of the Huawei Nova 6 SE that was launched along with the Nova 6 smartphone in December 2019. There is a possibility that other global markets may also receive it as Huawei Nova 7i. Being a rebranded version of the Huawei Nova 6 SE, the Huawei Nova 7i to come with a 6.4 inch FHD+ LCD with a punch hole in the upper-left corner for the 16MP selfie camera.

The handset is fitted with a side-mounted fingerprint reader. Due to the current US trade ban, the Huawei Nova 7i won’t arrive with Google Mobile Services (GMS). The Nova 7i will have a Kirin 810 Chipset coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. The square-shaped quad rear camera setup will have a 48-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The handset is said to be packed with a 4,200 mAh battery that could support up to 40W for fast charging. One of the key features of the Nova 7i is “MeeTime,” which ensures impressive video quality through the front camera even in dim light conditions.
