Huawei is expected to unveil its next-generation P50 series in March this year. The upcoming flagship series is said to include three devices – Huawei P50, Huawei 50 Pro, and Huawei P50 Pro Plus. Recently, a noted tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer, aka OnLeaks, published the render of the Huawei P50 Pro that reveals its design. Today (18-Jan-21), another reliable leakster Teme, has shared some vital specifications of the upcoming Huawei P50 Pro and P50 Pro+ smartphones.

The tipster claims that the Huawei P50 and P50 Pro+ will come with a 6.67-inch/6.7-inch display with quad curved edges. The Huawei P40 Pro and P40 Pro+ offered a refresh rate of 90Hz. However, the high-quality displays of the P50 Pro and Pro+ will come with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Huawei P50 Pro and P50 Pro+ are expected to feature glass / ceramic build. The tipster also suggests that the new phones will arrive with support for new gestures.

The P50 series will come loaded with EMU 11 based Android 11 OS (not Harmony OS). Unlike the Huawei P40 Pro and P40 Pro+, which have a pill-shaped hole-punch cutout for dual selfie cameras, the P50 Pro and Pro+ will have a single centered hole-punch cutout for selfie sensor. For photography experience, these devices will have Leica Quad/Penta camera setup that will offer up to 200x Super Zoom. Other features of the Huawei P50 Pro and P50 Pro+ include powerful stereo speakers, 4,200mAh/4,300mAh batteries with 66W fast charging and 50W wireless charging, and five color options.
