Apple hasn’t used the Y-OCTA OLED panels in iPhone 11 Series. So, it is expected that Samsung and LG will provide their OLED panels to Apple for its new iPhone model that is expected to be released in the fall of 2020.

The Y-OCTA OLED offers on-cell touch sensing so, it doesn’t require a separate touch-sensitive layer, and this makes the display panel thinner. Moreover, the iPhone 12 series will have Bionic A14 Chipset constructed on a 7nm+ OCta-core processor and paired with up to 6GB of RAM. Photography lovers will get a quad-camera setup on the rear panel, and maybe Apple will remove the notch on the front panel. The iPhone 12 will have 3200 mAh battery capacity that could support fast charging and wireless charging.
