Lenovo today announced its second-generation Legion gaming phone, called the Legion Phone Duel 2. It arrives as the successor to last year’s Legion Phone Duel. The Legion Phone Duel 2 is the second gaming-centric smartphone from the Chinese brand. The gaming phone has a new unique back panel design that houses cameras, a fan, and a Legion logo with RGB lighting.

The newly announced Legion Phone Duel 2 has a 6.92-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,460 x 1,080 pixels. It features a 144Hz refresh rate screen with HDR10+ support, DC Dimming, 1,300 nits peak brightness, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The smartphone has a pop-up selfie camera module that elevates from the right side. The gaming phone is equipped with dual front-facing speakers and Dolby Atmos. Under the hood, the Legion Phone Duel 2 is powered by a Snapdragon 888 processor. The SoC is coupled with up to 18GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. The device is also equipped with two cooling fans. There is also a vapor chamber and thermal cooling for heat dissipation.

In the camera department, the gaming phone has a dual-camera setup on the back with a 64MP primary sensor and a 16MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies, the phone offers a 44MP pop-up side camera. The Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2 is backed by dual 2,750mAh batteries (total 5,500mAh) with support for up to 90W Turbo Charging.
