LG confirms LG V20 will be announced on September 6

In 2015, LG announced two flagship smartphones LG G4 and LG V10, the former is a regular device while the second one comes with unique features. The LG V10 features a 5.7 inch screen with a ticker display, placed on top of the smartphone’s panel. It is actually a good device with fresh features so most of people are waiting for its ascendant LG V20. In 2016, the company has released LG G5 now it’s time to see unveiling of LG V20.

You have heard plenty of rumors about LG V20 smartphone such as its specifications, features and launch date. Today the company confirmed that the device will be launched on September 6, Apple iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, and iPhone 7 Pro will also land in September so it would be a blistering month for devices.

According to rumored specifications, the LG V20 will feature a smaller display than its predecessor; the latest device will pack a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1920 x 1080 resolutions. Some leaks suggest that the smartphone will be available in 3GB RAM+32GB storage and 4GB RAM+64GB native storage variants. The device will get power by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 64-bit quad-core SoC, a 20MP primary camera is expected to be equipped on the backside of the device, whilst an 8MP shooter will be available for selfies. A 4,000 mAh battery will come along the device to keep it awake.

The design of the device would be changed from its forerunner and it will borrow always on display features from LG V10. The LG V20 will support Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, and hotspot connectivity options. There will be different sensors in the phone including fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and color spectrum. The LG V20 is expected to come with improved specifications and features.
