LG is known as the best foldable smartphone provider in the mobile phone industry. It was also the first company to put the foldable smartphone idea to the test. On the other hand, Samsung has also launched the best foldable device known as Galaxy Fold with AMOLED display. This year, LG is planning to provide a better foldable screen phone. The South Korean phone maker LG files a patent for a foldable display case made of an OLED screen. The couple of two foldable phones from Huawei and Samsung face some problems of practical screen size. Foldable phones like the Huawei Mate X and the Samsung Galaxy Fold try to solve the demand for a bigger screen while still being convenient. Recently, the LetsGoDigital has shared a few patents of the upcoming LG’s foldable phone, and it seems that LG is looking at ways to solve the screen issue. The new patent from LetsGoDigital reveals a case that has a flexible screen that can wrap around the phone to protect it while the case protects the display. LG may apply this strategy with the upcoming V60 ThinQ 5G that will come with dual-screen. We hope LG will reveal some official information about this plan in the coming weeks.
