The Meizu 16s is coming this summer and will be priced under $500. The info comes through a weibo post by Meizu CEO. The same source said the Meizu 16s has no selfie notch or any punch hole camera in a quad bezel-less display. It indicates the Meizu 16s will be a Sliding Camera phone having a pop-up mechanism based front optics.

Some leaked images by a Meizu fan on Weibo revealed Meizu 16s will have a 6.2inches AMOLED Infinity Display protected with the latest generation of Corning Gorilla Glass 6.

It is suggested the smartphone will be launched alongside Meizu 16s Plus and both of them will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset and Adreno 640 GPU. The SD855 is, though, compatible with X50 modem that allows 5G, but we don’t confirm those of Meizu smartphones will support fifth generation network or not.

Meizu 16s is rumored to be pushed in the latest camera trap and the smartphone will have a 48MP main camera with OIS support. Meizu is seemed to be inspired by its sibling Xiaomi which offered Redmi Note 7 with the 48MP camera just for $150.

The other specs sheet is expected, a 3600mAh battery, Fast Charging support, a rear fingerprint sensor, face unlock, and at least 6GB RAM paired with 128GB Storage.
