Meizu is enjoying another great year; actually its profits have been increased by 540% in the second quarter of the following year. Meizu is a China based company which contains successful flagships in its product line. A few years ago, very few people were familiar with OEM smartphone, but now almost everyone knows about the mobile.
The company launched many devices this year, including flagship PRO 5 which was released a while ago. It seems that the company has something new to publicize very soon.On a Chinese Social Network page Weibo, Meizu posted some images. Meizu exposed the date of the event which you can see in following image. The date is December 19, but there are some numbers along with. Meizu listed some numbers such as 900, 8000 and 35000 which show randomly, but it is certain that these numbers have some meaning.
Can you guess what Meizu is planning to announce? Well, our guess is that the company is planning to announce Meizu Metal Mini. Yesterday the handset popped up on GFXBench website, it appears a perfect fit for this occasion. Recently we haven’t seen any other rumor or leak about Meizu. So the device is expected to launch in the coming year, though Meizu PRO 5 is released recently.
The device is listed in GFXBench’s list, the smartphone will carry a 4.6-inch display and 1080p (1920 x 1080) resolution. The device will be powered by MediaTek’s MT6753 64-bit octa-core SoC down with a Mali-T720 GPU for graphics. Metal Mini will come with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. A 13 MP rare snap shooter, and the 5MP selfie shooter will be placed on the back and front of the device respectively. The device will come with pre-installed 5.1 Lollipop which might be upgradeable into Marshmallow 6.0.
All above specifications are quite different from PRO 5 which will come along 4.7-inch display, the Helio X20 powerhouse and 3GB of RAM.That is all we can collect for Meizu lovers, and are sure about the smartphone right at the moment. The launch date of the device is not confirmed yet, but it is most likely to launch on December 19.
