Meizu’s Super mCharge Technology Fully Charges a Smartphone in only Twenty Minutes

Chinese Company Meizu released its Super mCharge technology on 28th February at MWC 2017. The company claims that the power bank charges a smartphone fully only in 20 minutes. The mCharge technology is faster than VOOC and Quick Charge Technologies from its competitors, the company has given demonstration to audience in Barcelona as well.

According to the company, the mCharge can power up a smartphone 30 percent in just five minutes. It is claimed to be 3.6 times faster than Galaxy S7 Edge and 11 times faster than the iPhone 7 Plus charging. At MWC, the company gave a demo on a smartphone pack 3000 mAh battery, the device charged 85 percent in only fifteen minutes, and fully charged in 20 minutes.

We expect that Meizu will apply this technology in its future smartphones as well. It is obvious that smartphones with bigger battery than 3000 mAh will take a bit longer to fully charge. The company makes certain that Super mCharge technology is safe than its predecessor mCharge technology. It utilizes half energy and produces more power, it also keeps the smartphone cool otherwise devices heat up due to fast charging.

Last year Oppo also launched VOOC fast charging technology at MWC 2017. Oppo claims to fully charge a smartphone with its VOOC a 2500mAh battery in just 15 minutes. Though, Meizu’s Super mCharge technology is safe as it uses the lower prolonging life of internal components and prevents heating.
