In India in a press event Micromax was shown officially as a selfies smartphone, on the occasion some tennis starts were also present. This is a dual sim handset particularly designed for selfies and is equipped with a powerful camera of 13 mega pixel with LED flash like HTC DESIRE EYE which is a camera centered smartphone.
Micromax Canvas Selfie is well configured smartphone which should be good return for money spent and has the power of 1.7GHz octa-core processor and has 2GB of RAM along with 16GB expandable memory. The device has 4.7 inches display having 720 pixels resolution and the screen of the device is protected with Gorilla Glass 3. The smartphone runs Android 4.4 KitKat and is energized with 2300mAh battery.
This smartphone has the conventional pair of cameras, 13 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and 13 mega pixel front facing camera again with flash, the cameras are auto focused and equipped with Sony sensors. There are certain in built features in the camera to edit the picture for better looking portraits. Interestingly, the Eye Enhancer makes the eyes look bigger and brighter and Face Slimming feature makes your face look better with cheek effect and also eliminates the double chin effect, Skin Smoothing feature gives a soft look of the skin area, where as teeth whitening feature gives a whiter shine to your teeth and Remove Oil eliminates the Oily effect.
So far we don’t have the information about its price but Micromax confirmed that handset will be available in the stores from mid of January 2015 as well as you can book the device online.
