Microsoft has announced its new product the Surface Pro 4 which is 2 in 1. The product announced has latest Intel Skylake processors and Windows 10 packed in a thinner and less in weight form. Microsoft has fixed its price starting from US$ 899.
Surface Pro is a versatile device which has a lot more capability in all respects. Although Surface Pro design is similar to its predecessor Surface Pro 3. The surface Pro 4 is also packed with bright and vivid display measures 12.3 inches with 2160 x 1440 pixels resolution which delivers 267 pixels per inch density. Besides the improvement in the display, the new Surface Pro 4 is light in weight and has slim body measures 8.4 mm. The previous model has 9.1 mm thickness. Surprisingly the size reduction and slimness does not affect the speed of tablet and still the Surface Pro 4 is 30% faster than Surface Pro 3 and 50% faster than Macbook Air.
Microsoft also introduces a new technology in the display which is called PixelGlass. The specialty in this glass is that the display contains 1024 different pressure level. The S pen is also improved and the new Surface Pen has the proper function and attached magnetically with the device. The Surface Pro 4 has 8 MP rear and 5 MP front facing camera. For the security purpose, Microsoft placed Windows Hello Face Authentication which works as a camera feature as well as the fingerprint sensor.
The Type cover of Surface Pro 4 is also lighter and thinner. The larger trackpad and soft keyboard make the typing easy. The Surface Pro 4 has 16 GB RAM and 1TB internal storage. This advance Surface Pro 4 will be available from 26th October at the price of $899.
