Nokia 7.1 Goes Official With 5.8in HDR Display, Snapdragon 636 and Dual Rear Cameras

Nokia unveiled a new mid-range smartphone, The Nokia 7.1 which has come up with a big display, powerful hardware and enhanced optics. The Smartphone boasts a water-drop notch, 5.84 inches screen, IPS LCD Display, 19:9 aspects ratio, 1080 x 2280 pixels resolution and 432 ppi density. It is an HDR compliant and supports Real-Time HDR. The device is made of aluminum frame protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on both front and rear sides.

Nokia 7.1 is an Android One handset which is running on Android 8.1 (Oreo) and surely would be upgraded to Android 9.0 (Pie) in November 2018. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset coupled with Octa-core 1.8GHz processor and Adreno 509 GPU. You can get this device in either of 3GB or 4GB RAM variants paired with 32GB and 64GB Storage respectively.

Talking about optics, the Nokia 7.1 comes with Zeiss-branded Dual Rear Cameras of 12MP (f/1.8) and 5MP (f/2.4). It lets you shoot excellent photos and amazing 4K videos at 30fps. On the front, there is an AI-powered 8MP (f/2.0) Selfie Camera to capture more beautiful images. You can experience Face Unlock too. Nokia 7.1 has a Bothie feature which allows you to take and merge two images into a single frame by using front and rear camera simultaneously.

Nokia 7.1 is backed by a Non-removable Li-Ion 3060mAh Battery which offers 408 hours stand-by time and 19 hours talk time. You can recharge 50% life in 30 minutes by Fast Charging Option. There is a Fingerprint Scanner on the back for biometric security. The handset comes in two premium body colors, Gloss Midnight Blue and Gloss Steel.

Pre-order, Pricing and Shipment Details

The Pre-orders for Nokia 7.1 will start on October 5 while the shipment will begin on October 28. The Price of Nokia 7.1 is $350.
