HMD Global has sent invitations to media and confirmed its presence at MWC 2020. According to the Nokia Power User, HMD will unveil Nokia 8.2 5G on the zero-day of the mobile exhibition, February 23. (MWC20 will take place between February 24 and 27.)  The same source revealed Nokia 8.2 5G would come alongside Nokia 4.3, Nokia 1.3, and Nokia 400 4G. The later Nokia 400 4G is said to be the first Android Featured Phone. It will have a TA-1208 model number, Unisoc processor, and GAFP OS (developed by Google with smart Android features). NPU suggested there will be a revamped classic phone picked from the brand’s history mobiles. It’s not surprising at all, HMD had done the same with Nokia 3310 4G and Nokia 110 (2019), upgraded versions of the Nokia history.

Some recent rumors were expecting Nokia 9.2 at the mobile congress, so there are chances HMD may introduce the successor of Nokia 9 (9.1) PureView at the same time on February 23.

The story does not end here. Another report of NPU says Nokia 8.2 5G may cost half of the other flagship 5G phones in the mobile market. For example, if Samsung Galaxy S10 5G Price is $800, the Nokia 8.2 5G should cost $400. In terms of Nokia 8.2 5G specs, rumors claimed it to have PureView Display, Zeiss-branded cameras (not Leica), and a Snapdragon 700 or 800 series 5G SoC. We expect Nokia 8.2 to come powered by SD 765G chipset (to keep the price low), 6GB RAM (for the standard), and a sizeable battery about 4000mAh.
