We have already stepped into 2020, and this year, we have a lot of expectations from mobile phone makers. The smartphone manufacturers have already focused more on delivering 5G-enabled phones this year. Not only upper mid-range and flagship smartphones, but the gaming phones will also come with 5G support. The Vivo IQOO Pro 5G was the first gaming-centric phone to unveil with 5G support in August 2019. The Xiaomi is also expected to be working on its next Black Shark gaming phone. Recently, Nubia has revealed on the Weibo platform the upcoming Red Magic phone will arrive with 5G connectivity. The published poster shows, the forthcoming Red Magic Phone will fuel by Snapdragon 865 Chipset with X55 5G modem. So, the next Red Magic phone to come with support Non-standalone (NSA) and Standalone (SA) 5G networks. The phone may run the latest Android 10 OS.

On the other hand, the Vivo IQOO Pro 5G can’t support for dual-mode 5G network, but it seems that the next Red Magic phone will feature it. Unfortunately, the name of the upcoming gaming phone is currently under wraps, but it could be called Red Magic 4. Earlier in December, Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon 865 Chipset, and after its announcement, some brands, including Nubia, confirmed to unveil SDM865 powered phones in 2020. The previous Red Magic 3 had launched in April 2019, so it may be possibly the next Red Magic phone with 5G capability will arrive in April.
