Nubia Watch will launch on July 28th. The next-generation wearable is already available on the Chinese JingDong store for reservation. Today (25-July), Nubia has shared a teaser image that confirms some of its specs. The smartwatch follows from the Nubia Alpha bendable phone which was launched back in April 2019. This one is a futuristic-looking smartphone that bends around our wrist. The device therefore, sits somewhere between a smartwatch and a phone. The Nubia Alpha comes with a long flexible OLED display. The 4-inch 960 x 192 pixel screen covers a large part of the wrist. This is what makes it so unique.
According to the teaser image, the Nubia Watch will have a flexible OLED display and 316L stainless steel + aluminum body. It seems that the smartwatch may have a small size display as compared to the Nubia Alpha. It will lack the camera on the side. Furthermore, the device will have a physical button on the side alongside the two screws. The software on this smartwatch is a mystery. If we recall, the Nubia Alpha is powered by a custom OS based on Android. Maybe, the upcoming Nubia Watch will come with the same.
