We have recently come to know that Nexus 6 phablet has been revealed by combined efforts of Google and Motorola. It was revealed last week. We have also come to know that pre orders for this phablet would start on October 29th. This news is through a blog posting on the Google phones site.
The confirmation about the date of this device has been known through the phone listing in the Google play store. In this news Nexus 6 has been mentioned and you can get the device only through the pre order that is starting from next Wednesday which falls on 29th October. Presently the availability of the device is announced through pre orders.
There are two models of the device and both have different prices. The base model consistent of 32 GB would be available for $649. If you feel this is insufficient for you will have the double memory model for $699. Though the difference in price is not much but the storage capacity is double.
The USA carrier T-Mobile is also offering this device and would be releasing it on 12th November. It is not confirmed whether the device would be released through other carriers also in across the country through the retailers. The other carriers would also be offering this phablet throughout the country. The carriers offering Nexus 6 include AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and US Cellular.
The Nexus 6 is provided with 5.96-inch QHD with 2560x1440 pixels resolution, the screen type is AMOLED touch screen, has 13 MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, and a 2 MP front-facing unit for selfies and video calling. It's has a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset, with a 2.7 GHz quad-core CPU, 3GB of RAM, and a 3,220 mAh battery. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop.
