One Plus changed the tradition of 5.5 inches smartphones and announced One Plus X with the new design and in the size of 5 inches. Before this, the company launched two devices One Plus and One Plus 2 with 5.5 inches screen and the purpose behind launching this new handset is to set the top notch design example for the company and increase the company portfolio with simplicity.
The newly announced device comes in two options Onyx and Ceramic apparel and the both versions are featured with lines pattern. The first furrow has glass panel with reflective finish which is not the ordinary design. In a case of a ceramic model the thing goes tough and it is a lengthy process of 25 days and each model needs a special care. After going through heating, cooling and polishing process it is ready and carries hardness of 8.5 on the Mohs scale.
The One Plus X has 5 inches full HD AMOLED display. The device measures 140 x 69 x 6.9mm in thickness and the Onyx version carries 138 grams of weight, on the contrary, the Ceramic version is 22 grams heavier than Onyx. The mobile phone is powered with Snapdragon 801 chipset combined with 3 GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory which can be raised externally via microSD card. It has 13 MP rear camera with ISOCELL sensor and has 8 MP OmniVision front-facing shooter.
This Android Smartphone is energized with the 2520mAh battery. The Onyx version of the device will be available in the USA from 19th November at the cost of $249 and in Europe the device will be available from 5th November in the price of 269 Euros. On the other side, the premium Ceramic version will not be for the USA users and in Europe the device version will be sold in 339 Euros. There is no information available yet that how much it will be supplied and in which region, because of the costly production the One Plus made only 10000 units of this Ceramic version.
