OnePlus is reportedly to unveil the OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro, and OnePlus 8 Lite in late March or April. Recently the standard variant – OnePlus 8 has appeared on the Geekbench database with the GALILEI IN2025 model number. The listing has also revealed a few specifications and features of the upcoming smartphone. According to the Geekbench listing, the OnePlus 8 runs Android 10 OS which definitely gets an overlay of OnePlus’ custom Oxygen skin (depending on the region it will be sold). The device is also listed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Chipset (named as Kona) and coupled with up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and USF 3.0 storage.
The OnePlus 8 scored 4279 points in the single-core test and 12,541 points in the multi-core test. The scores are in the same zone as those of the OnePlus 8 Pro. Based on previous leaks, the OnePlus 8 is expected to feature a 6.7 inch curved Super AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The Super AMOLED display of the alleged phone will support up to 120Hz refresh rate. On the front panel, the handset is said to have a punch-hole for selfie shooter. It will also have quad rear cameras and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
