A few days ago, the live images of the flagship OnePlus 9 Pro phone surfaced online to reveal its design. These live images revealed that OnePlus has partnered with Hasselblad, which is a big thing as it means OnePlus is serious regarding cameras on its flagships. The photos also showcased that the phone will have a 120Hz 1440p panel. Today, a notable tipster Max Jambor claimed on Twitter that the OnePlus 9 Pro will have an LTPO panel.

The LTPO stands for Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide, and the name is quite similar to LTPS, which stands for Low-Temperature Polysilicon. One of the biggest advantages of LTPO over LTPS is that it consumes lesser power, and it also allows the OEMs to dynamically change the refresh rates of the displays. Samsung's Galaxy S21 Ultra also has LTPO display tech, and the refresh rate of the device can be varied dynamically, so depending on the content on the screen, it can go as low as 10Hz and as high as 120Hz.
As for the key specs, the OnePlus 9 Pro may feature a 6.78-inch Super AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and curved edges. It is said to come with SDM 888 SoC and up to 12GB of RAM. The triple rear camera setup may include a 48MP primary camera. The tipster Jambor recently confirmed that the phone would have a 4,500 mAh battery.
