OnePlus has the plan to announce their third OnePlus handset somewhere in December at the occasion of Christmas. The handset called OnePlus X. The handset name is confirmed by the company officials and the executive post an image on their Weibo account with sign “X” which clearly indicates that the upcoming smartphone name associated with the initial “X”.
The OnePlus executive further said that the handset is designed for those who wanted to add some charm in their smartphone rather to an emphasis on specs. In the account of specs, the upcoming handset will be featured with 5 inches screen with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. The handset carries 64 bit 2.2 GHz Octa Core processor paired with MediaTek MT6795 chipset and PowerVR G6200 GPU. The handset has 2 GB RAM and 32 GB internal memory which can be increased further.
The OnePlus X has come with 13 MP rear camera with Sony IMX258 sensor which is able to record 4K videos and has 5 MO frontfacing camera. The handset will be energized from a 3100mAh battery. As usual this is the Android Smartphone and will run 5.1 Lollipop version of operating system.
The company has an event in Indian on 12th October and it is expected that the handset will take official place during the event. It is also expected that the upcoming handset carries the price tag of $249. Well, whatever is ready in the lab of OnePlus we need to wait till the official event.
