OnePlus introduced Concept One at CES 2020. It will use in a co-branded OnePlus/McLaren device. The concept shows off premium leather back having a centered thin glass with a moniker on top ‘OnePlus X McLaren.’ We assume that is the actual device name, which had been rumored in the past. The device gets a vertical triple camera setup installed below an electrochromic glass resulting in the camera disappear. The camera remains in opaque (disappearing mode) until a user clicks on the camera icon. The electrochromic glass takes 0.7seconds on switching between opaque to transparent mode and vice versa.
OnePlus X McLaren resembles the hardware of OnePlus 7T Pro and showcased in Papaya Orange color. The overall design looks amazing. Unfortunately, OnePlus didn’t reveal about specs, price, and availability of the OnePlus X McLaren.
OnePlus X McLaren to be powered by Snapdragon 865 chipset and be capable of 5G connectivity. The display should be above 6.0inches by AMOLED FHD+. In terms of internal specs, we expect Concept smartphone to get 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, and a 4000mAh battery with 65W Fast Charge, as sd665 supports such technology. Furthermore, OnePlus X could be the brand’s first Wireless Charging smartphone. Being a McLaren co-branded product, OnePlus X will be expensive and might cost about $800.
