Oppo A31 launched with Helio P35 SoC and triple camera setup

The Chinese smartphone company Oppo has announced a new mid-range phone – Oppo A31 in its A-series. Initially, Oppo has unveiled this handset with 4GB of RAM and 128GB storage in Indonesia while it will arrive in other markets soon. The OPPO A31 is currently available on sale in two colors – Fantasy White and Mystery Black for IDR 2,599,000 ($190).

The latest member of the brand’s midrange series flaunts a 6.5 inch LCD screen having a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the OPPO A31 is powered by the MediaTek MT6765V/CB Helio P35 (12nm) CPU that is clocked at 2.3GHz and paired with up to 4GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. However, users can expand the memory by up to 512GB using a microSD card. On the back panel, there is a triple camera setup, including a 12MP primary wide-angle sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture.

The rear camera supports hardware-based portrait Bokeh mode. On the front, there is an 8MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture for taking selfies. The device draws power from the 4,230mAh battery, which is non-removable, and runs Android 9 Pie OS with Oppo’s custom ColorOS 6.1 on top.
