Oppo Reno5 4G goes official with 4,310mAh battery and SDM 720G

Earlier this month, Oppo officially unveiled the Reno5 5G and Reno5 Pro 5G smartphones. On December 24, the Chinese tech giant introduced its flagship Reno5 Pro+ device with SDM 865 SoC and 50MP quad rear camera setup. Today, Oppo held a dedicated launch event in Vietnam to announce the Reno5 4G. It comes with an SDM 720G SoC instead of SDM 765G which powers the Reno5 5G.

The newly announced Oppo Reno5 4G runs ColorOS 11 based on Android 11 and flaunts a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. There is an under-display fingerprint sensor for authentication. The display punch-hole offers a 44MP selfie camera. The quad-camera setup on the rear of the phone has a 64MP primary sensor with f/7 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. It comes in black and gradient blue colors. The phone draws power from the Snapdragon 720G Chipset that is coupled with 8GB LPDRR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. Oppo Reno4 5G comes with a 4,310mAh battery that can support up to 50W SuperVOOC (1st generation) fast charging technology.
