We have heard plenty of news about Oppo F1 Plus and we expect that it is a variant of Oppo F1. The Oppo F1 which is actually a selfie expert, it comes with better camera and improved fingerprint scanner. It sounds exciting but today the Chinese company clarified that Oppo F1 Plus is not variant of Oppo F1, it is Oppo R9 for international markets.
The announcement blows off all confusion and now it is clear that all rumors were counterfeit. According to the company announcement Oppo R9, Oppo R9 Plus, and Oppo F1 Plus feature a 5.5-inch, Full HD AMOLED display, measure 151.8 x 74.3 x 6.6m, with a minimal bezel size of 1.66mm. The smartphone is powered by Mediatek Helio P10 chipset with Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2.0GHz, and the other four at 1.0GHz. The device has a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
In the camera section, the Oppo F1 is worthy to pick, the selfie expert and the R9 have quality front cameras with higher resolution. The smartphone has a 16MP selfie shooter with an f/2.0 lens with a 78.1-degree field of view. It has a 13MP sensor behind a 5-element lens with f/2.2 aperture and 80.6-degree FoV.
The Oppo F1 is expected to hit Malaysia market on 7th April. The Oppo R9 plus is officially available in China which probably won’t available internationally.
