Oppo Showcases near to 100 Percent STBR Waterfall Screen after the UD Camera

Oppo Vice President, Brian Shen premiers a Waterfall Screen approaching incredibly near to 100% STBR (screen-to-body-ratio). Surprisingly, the Oppo Waterfall Screen gets extremely curved edges at 88-degree and no buttons on any side unlike usual either for power, volume or other purposes. It is another big innovation by Oppo after the June announcement of the world’s first true Under-Screen Selfie Camera, so there is no slide, no hole or notch, and a full-fledged infinite display.

You can also say it the world’s first Waterfall Screen near to 100% STBR, as we are wondering there is no any other brand yet announced such setup. How clever Oppo is? Vivo may join the parallel dimension, or what about Huawei. Well... some answers we will receive with the passage of time.

Analysts are suggesting the next-gen Oppo flagship smartphone will bring two newer technologies, Waterfall Screen and UD Camera. Some rumors and earlier reports expected it to be Find Y, as the first true full view display phone by Oppo was Find X and that’s also the world’s first sliding camera phone.

We have some clues too, as before the EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office) aka European trademark office registered the Find Y back in July 2019, which is evidently showing the Oppo is behind that long route plans.

According to the previous pattern, Oppo keeps a one or two or more years distance between the Find series smartphones, so it’s not hard to believe the Chinese giant is going to announce Find Y next year, 2020 we expected.
