Oppo U3 has been shown as high end smartphone on GFXBench mark. The Bench mark revealed some information about the handset such as specs, price and features.
Oppo has made a big leap by adding two more smartphones to its line of production namely Oppo N3 and Oppo R5. According to the information received Oppo R5 is going to be the thinnest smartphone in the world produced so far. Company seems to be having some other plan and there may be still another device in the pipe line and nearing completion.
According to GFX Bench one more smartphone may appear before any official announcement. This new device bears the name Oppo U3, slightly costly, with not a big screen, smaller than 5 inches standard screen at present.
The new device U3 is equipped with 4.6 inches HD display, delivers 479 ppi density to the handset. The handset is powered with Octa Core 1.7 GHz processor combined with Media Tek MT6752 system on chip and they both work with 2GB RAM. The Oppo U3 supports 12 mega pixel rear and 5 mega pixel front facing camera with 4k video recording. According to the GFX the handset has 1.1 GB onboard memory which seems fishy. However the FGXBench only revealed the available storage. May be company placed this memory only for testing the handset in the initial stage.
The two main factors are still hided; release date and price. We are expecting to see this handset before the end of this year and if the GFX is right the handset might be bit costly than Oppo R5. Well we have to wait a bit for knowing more about this handset.
