Realme 8 Pro confirmed to have a 108MP camera, design revealed

Realme held a camera innovation event today, and the Realme 8 lineup wasn’t announced at this event. Instead, the company confirmed that the Realme 8 Pro would offer a 108MP primary camera. The phone will come as a successor to the Realme 7 Pro from last year. According to the company, the mobile phone will bring a ton of camera improvements. Additionally, the company has also revealed the design of the Realme 8 Pro. The phone appears to have a square-shaped quad-camera module along with LED flash and ‘Dare to Leap’ tagline etched on the back. There will be a punch-hole on the top-left corner for the selfie sensor.

Realme 8 Pro price

The company officially revealed that the Realme 8 Pro would pack a Samsung Isocell HM2 108MP sensor, featuring nona-binning (nine-in-one pixel binning). This sensor has a 1/1.52-inch size and features 0.7 micron pixels. The sensor has ISOCELL Plus technology that can minimize optical loss and light reflection, delivering higher color fidelity and up to 15 percent enhancement in light sensitivity. The sensor will offer 3x zoom, brings a new starry mode with support for timelapse video, tilt-shift, and portrait mode with three new filters. The upcoming Realme 8 Pro will also be the first to offer a new Starry Mode that will let users capture starry time-lapse videos. The Realme 8 series will also come with a couple of new Portrait filters to help users capture impressive portrait shots. These include Neon Portrait, Dynamic Bokeh Portrait, and AI Color Portrait.
