Realme GT 5G goes official with 6.5-inch display and 65W fast charging

Realme GT 5G has been officially launched in China as the company’s latest flagship phone for 2021. After many leaks and teasers, the smartphone is now official with a rectangular camera setup and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone also has a punch-hole display and dual-tone Vegan Leather design. The smartphone will go on sale from March 10th in China. Realme also confirmed that it would launch another phone called Realme GT Neo soon.

Realme GT 5G

The Realme GT features a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and punch-hole cutout for selfie camera. There is also an in-screen fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G Chipset paired with Adreno 660 GPU, up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It runs Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 OS. For photos and videos, the Realme GT 5G comes with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. It has a 16MP sensor on the front for selfies and video chats. Finally, the Realme GT 5G packs a 4,500mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging.
