Redmi K30 Pro and K30 Pro Zoom Edition with quad rear camera setup announced
Redmi K30 Pro has been finally launched alongside a Zoom Edition. The phones are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. As teased before, they feature LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage system, and a front-facing pop-up camera. Both smartphones will go on sale starting on March 27 in China.
Redmi K30 Pro and Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition run Android 10 with the MIUI 11 custom skin on top. They feature a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1080 x 2400) HDR10+ AMOLED display with 1,200 nits of peak brightness and 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio. The two phones are powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM. As for the photography, Redmi K30 Pro has a quad-camera setup including a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 5-megapixel telephoto lens. The Zoom Edition has the same setup, but it swaps the macro camera in favor of an 8-megapixel telephoto lens that offers 3X optical zoom and 30X digital zoom. Redmi K30 Pro and Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition come equipped with a 4,700mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
