The Redmi K40 launch is just a few days away, as the company confirmed that the phone will go official on February 25. Now, ahead of the launch, the Redmi K40 smartphone rear design has been officially teased. The image published by Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing showcases the phone’s triple rear camera setup and a true black color finish. It is expected that the company will also unveil Redmi K40 Pro alongside the vanilla K40 device.

According to the teaser image, the Redmi K40 will have a rectangular-shaped rear camera module that is made up of glass. The camera setup will house three camera sensors and an LED flash. We can see two large camera sensors on the back for photography experience. The smartphone will seemingly come with a rear glass panel that is in pure black color.
In a separate post, Weibing also shared that the Redmi K40 series will be the first Redmi series to come with the Snapdragon 888 SoC. Redmi K40 is tipped to launch with a punch-hole display instead of a pop-up camera setup. The smartphone may come with an FHD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Xiaomi Redmi K40 may be powered by a 4,500mAh battery.
