Back in May 2019, Samsung launched the world’s first 64MP ISOCELL GW1 Bright sensor, which surprised the mobile market and hence a new contest starts among smartphone brands, and now those are chasing to be the first for bringing 64MP camera technology in cell phones.

In the fame of innovations, Xiaomi’s subsidiary Redmi premiered today all-new 64MP optics (by Samsung) and gave a short briefing on its working too. Well, Redmi has finally announced to implement such camera setup, and a 64MP Redmi phone will be launched soon, most probably in Q1 2020.

Redmi Note 7 was the first Xiaomi’s device with 48MP camera, so we are anticipating a successor Redmi Note 8 or else, to do the same (featuring a 64MP one this time).

Besides Redmi, the competent Realme is also holding an event tomorrow (August 8), and Oppo’s infant will announce to implement the same 64MP Quad Bayer Camera setup. Therefore, you can expect two earliest 64MP camera smartphones from Redmi and Oppo.

What did we expect? Realme 4 could be the Oppo’s 64MP device, or the Realme will introduce an entirely new series for implementing this setup.

Note: Samsung announced that ISOCELL sensor but not to carry it in their Galaxy handsets, so don’t imagine until confirmation.
