Samsung allegedly working on Galaxy S7 Edge Olympic Edition

Previously, numerous renders were circulating over on the internet regarding Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Olympic edition. The company is working on its exclusive edition and courtesy to EvenBlass @eveleaks for showing us how the device will look like.

From above image we can see that the Galaxy S7 Edge Olympic edition will have gold accents around the earphone and the home button, green volume rockers, and red power button. On the backside there are blue accents around a camera and Olympic rings on the bottom of the device. Unfortunately, there are no official words regarding the launch date of the device, but it is anticipated to launch during Rio Olympics games on August 5.

Last month, Samsung debuted Galaxy S7 Edge Injustice edition to endorse the declaration of the Injustice 2 game. The Galaxy S7 Edge Injustice edition has the same specifications as standard model Galaxy S7 Edge, so we expect that Galaxy S7 Edge Olympic edition will come with no changes in hardware but it could be coupled with an exclusive edition of the VR. The company could release special apps too for enhancing gaming experience on the mobile.

The Galaxy S7 Edge is equipped with 5.5 inches Super AMOLED display with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution; it is powered by Snapdragon 820 and runs Android Marshmallow 6.0. There is a 12MP rear camera with OIS, LED flash and 5MP secondary camera. A 3600 mAh battery keeps the device on and it is available in White, Gold, Black, Silver, and Pink Gold color options.
