Samsung announced another rugged smartphone Galaxy Active Neo in Japan

Samsung wants to be in action and for this the company provides their best to the users. We already heard that very soon the company will launch their huge tablet and, on the other hand, the Samsung announced another rugged smartphone called “Galaxy Active Neo”. The handset is specially designed for Japan, but it is expected that after hitting the Japanese markets the handsets move towards the other regions.

According to the specifications, the handset is the mid-range device and come with 4.5 inches display with 480 pixels resolution. The smartphone is featured with the quad core 1.2 GHz Cortex A53 processor paired with Snapdragon 410 chipset and Adreno 306 GPU. The handset also has 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory which can be increased externally.

The Galaxy Active Neo is come with 8 MP rear and 2 Mp frontfacing camera and energized with a 2200mAh battery. This is the Android Phone and runs lollipop version of OS. Besides these capabilities, the handset has LTE, Wi-fi, Bluetooth, and NFC connectivity.

The handset is not the ordinary phone which the initial “Active: proved. The handset is IP68 certified which means the Galaxy Active Neo is water and dust resistance and remain alive up to 30 minutes under 1.5-meter water. Besides this the handset is also MIL-STD-810G certified which proves that the device is able to tolerate salt and sea water, dust, humidity, rain, vibration, solar radiation, transport and thermal shock without any problem.

In Japan, the NTT DoCoMO carrier will start offering this handset from November in the price of JPY 20,000 and after that the other regions will get the handset with the price difference in it.
