Samsung Galaxy A3 has SM-A300 model number and will come in Metal body

In the month of September Samsung revealed they planned to announce the “Galaxy A series” handsets soon. Before this news Galaxy A5 which has SM-A500 model number images were leaked. This is the handset belongs to the upcoming Galaxy A family. Now the new information is on the surface that the new series is made up with metal, but it is also expected that the handset body is partially made up with the metal instead of full metal. Today information about another member of Galaxy A series named Galaxy A3 and having SM-A300 model number is out and this is not the first rumor we heard about the handset. China’s Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center revealed the image of the handset. The A3 is quite similar to Galaxy A5 but the A3 has a small size. Galaxy A3 has 4.5 inch AMOLED display as an alternative of 5 inches display having 540 x 960 pixels resolution. It has 1.2GHz quad core Snapdragon 410 processors. Samsung puts 1GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory which can be extended externally via microSD card.  According to the leaked information the A3 measures 130.1 x 65.5 x 6.9 dimension and has 112 grams weight. This is the typical Android based handset, so the handset runs Android 4.4.4KitKat. Samsung placed 8 mega pixel rear cameras and 5 mega pixel front facing camera with LED. It is expected the handset will be sold in the price range of $350 to $400 and this is the price of the unlocked handset.

It is strongly expected that the Samsung will announce three handsets Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 which is the bigger version than the other at the same time. Probably the handsets will make the public debut in a couple of weeks.
