Samsung (South Korean tech giant) has today officially announced that the company will be holding a Galaxy Awesome Unpacked event on March 17, 10 AM ET. The event will be live-streamed on Samsung Newsroom and the brand’s official YouTube channel.

Although the teaser doesn’t specifically reveal the devices that will be launched during the event, the word “Awesome,” which begins with the letter “A,” could be a hint “the company will be launching new A series devices during the upcoming event.” Many reports claim that Samsung will launch the much anticipated mid-range Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 smartphones at the event. Both devices have been a part of multiple leaks and rumors in the past. The Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 will be arriving as the successors to the well-received Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 smartphones from last year.

As per the recent leaks and rumors, the smartphones will come with center-aligned punch-hole AMOLED displays and 90Hz refresh rates. The Galaxy A52 will have a 6.5-inch screen, while the A72 will come with a slightly larger 6.7 inches screen. They are also expected to arrive as the first IP67 rated A-series smartphones. The quad-camera setup of the Galaxy A52 will include a 64MP primary camera with OIS support, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 5MP macro lens, and a 5MP depth sensor. On the other side, the Galaxy A72’s quad rear camera setup may include a 64MP primary lens with OIS support, an 8MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom support, a 12MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 2MP macro sensor. The Galaxy A52 will have a 4,500mAh battery, whereas the A72 will bring a 5,000mAh battery.
