Earlier rumors suggest that Korean Conglomerate Samsung is working on foldable smartphone. Now some reports inform that the Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 passed TENAA certification. The device has cleared the FCC and Bluetooth certification as well.
Today images of the device also leaked and exhibit a slim foldable device in golden color. In terms of specifications, the Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 packs 3.8-inch touchscreen display of 480 x 800 pixel resolution. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 425 SoC clocked at 1.4 GHz. The Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 has 16GB expandable memory with 2GB RAM. The device gets power by 1,950mAh battery.
In terms of optics, the Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 owns an 8MP rear camera and 5MP selfie camera. The smartphone weights 155g, measures 122 x 60.2 x 15.5mm, and runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box.
As for design, the device is ultra-slim flip phone that resembles to its precursor. The promotional picture confirms that the smartphone will come in golden color. Previous renders hint that the Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 will have an 8GB RAM, and 2,000mAh battery. The device will be available for around $250 and it is not confirmed that the smartphone will be available outside of China or not. We expect the device will be launched soon in upcoming months.
