Back in March Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) and Galaxy J5 (2016) were launched in China and available for purchase. According to IndiaExpress.com both devices will land in India today. Lately Samsung announced prices of both devices in Korea.
The bigger model Galaxy J7 (2106) comes with KRW 290,000 or INR 17,000 price tag while Galaxy J5 (2016) is available for KRW 363,000 or INR 21,000. There is significant difference between prices of both device in Korea and India. If we talk about launch price of both device in India the Galaxy J5 will cost you INR 11,999 and the Galaxy J7 will come with INR 14,999.
The 2016 models Galaxy J5 and J7 are packed in a metal clad and look more stylish as compare last year models. As for specifications, the Galaxy J7 features a bigger screen such as 5.5 inch HD AMOLED screen, powered by an octa-core processor coupled with 3GB RAM. On the photography side Galaxy J7 and J5 has a 13MP main camera with a f/1.9 aperture and 5MP front camera. There is a 3,300mAh battery which keeps the smartphone on. Whilst the Galaxy J5 owns a 5.2 inch HD AMOLED display, powered by quad-core processor paired with 2GB RAM and has a has a 3,100mAh Li-Ion battery.
Both smartphones have similar specifications as well such as run Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and support 4G LTE. Both mobiles have 16GB internal storage which can be enhanced up to 128GB via MicroSD card. Both smartphones support Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth v4.1, A2DP, GPS, GLONASS/ BDS (region dependent), and NFC connectivity. The Galaxy J7 and Galaxy J5 will be available in White, Black, Gold, and Rose Gold color options.
