Last year Samsung released Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7, both mobiles were first handsets to have a front facing camera with LED flashes. Now Samsung is preparing to launch Galaxy J5 2016 and Galaxy J7 2016 models. Whereas, the company hasn’t announced it when both models will be launched.
Recently, we heard that both mobiles Galaxy J5 2016 and Galaxy J7 2016 are approved by China's Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center. Both smartphone resemble and look similar. Although Galaxy J7 comes with larger display, the device features a 5.5-inch 1080p display. The Galaxy J5 2016 comes with 5.2 inch 720p screen. If we compare 2016 models with last year models, upcoming mobiles look good but still they embrace a plastic body.
The Galaxy J7 ( 2016) comes in two variants such as SM-J7108 and SM-J7109. The only difference between both models is processor, SM-J7108 is powered by 1.6 GHz octa-core processor and SM-J7109 is powered by anonymous octa-core processor. The latest Galaxy J7 comes with 3GB RAM, and 16GB expandable storage. It features a 13MP rear camera, and 5 MP front camera with LED flash. It is said that the mobile will have a 3300 mAh battery.
Obviously Galaxy J5 (2016) have less specifications that J7, the mobile has a smaller screen and lower pixel resolution. Whereas, camera is same you would find a 13MP primary and 5MP secondary camera in the mobile. The device is powered by a quad-core 1.2 GHz one, 2 GB of RAM, and 16GB expandable internal storage.
In above picture you can see both mobiles likely to have laser auto focus for their rear cameras. If this picture is genuine then these mobiles will be company’s first handsets to feature this type of auto focus technology which was first used on the LG G3. Both mobiles run Android lollipop 5.1 but we expect that they will get OS updates.
