Samsung is perhaps working on a new Galaxy M smartphone - the Galaxy M40, which has recently passed through WiFi Alliance with the model number SM-M405F. Samsung has launched three Galaxy M line products until yet, Galaxy M10, M20, and the latest Samsung M30. But the fresh report claims Samsung is looking for a successor, and that is possibly Samsung M40 we calculated from WiFi Alliance report and the sequence of Samsung M series products.
The Galaxy M40 phone is almost ready and running on Android 9 Pie (pre-installed). We expect Samsung will unveil the M40 this month, April 2019. Most of the M40’s specs will remain identical to the Galaxy M30, and also a familiar price for budget phone lovers.

Samsung could launch a Galaxy M50 alongside the M40, too. There is no confirmation yet, but thanks to WiFi certification for giving us a hint. Black and Blue color options being supposed for upcoming Samsung M generation.
